Il s’agit d’une annonce qui marque un pas supplémentaire dans la disparition du dioxyde de titane de nos linéaires.Mars Wrigley Confectionery France a annoncé un investissement de 70 M€ sur l’usine d’Haguenau (67) pour supprimer le colorant blanc de ses confiseries d’ici mi-2020. Cette suppression se fait à l’échelle française et européenne. La production de M&M’s sans dioxyde de titane débutera à partir de mi-2019. Pour rappel, le groupe s’est engagé en 2016 à supprimer l’ensemble des colorants artificiels – y compris le E171 – de tous ses produits d’alimentation humaine dans un délai de cinq ans.
