Dans un contexte global marqué par le dérèglement climatique, l’eau est devenue un enjeu clé pour l’industrie agroalimentaire, à la fois en termes de performance industrielle, d’économie, de risque de pénurie ou de tensions sur la ressource, mais aussi d’image liée à la RSE.

En octobre 2020, Agria Grand Est et le pôle de l’eau HYDREOS ont conjointement lancé une étude portant sur la gestion de l’eau dans l’industrie agroalimentaire, avec la participation financière de l’Agence de l’eau Rhin-Meuse.

Cette étude a permis de réaliser une photographie 2021 de la maturité d’entreprises agroalimentaires en région Grand Est vis-à-vis de la thématique et d’identifier des bonnes pratiques et des pistes d’innovations en matière de gestion de l’eau, en vue de les diffuser auprès de la filière.

Ainsi, Agria Grand Est et HYDREOS ont élaboré et mettent à disposition différents outils pour accompagner les entreprises dans leur démarche d’optimisation de la gestion de l’eau. Un guide opérationnel des bonnes pratiques et des pistes d’innovation en matière de gestion de l’eau en agroalimentaire a été publié, ainsi qu’un focus sur l’utilisation de produits chimiques en agroalimentaire. Plusieurs ateliers thématiques, ainsi qu’un colloque « Eau & Industrie agroalimentaire », ont été organisés et sont accessibles en rediffusion.

De nombreuses entreprises ont pris part aux évènements (webinars, ateliers de sensibilisation, colloque de restitution finale) et à des pré-diagnostics.
